Brizga served as the prime consultant for the Tampa Bay Partnership alongside AECOM and the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council, leading the study that examined the economic implications of inaction and benefits of adaptation in the Tampa Bay area. The goals of the study are to better understand the return of investments of adaptation to frequent flooding and detail what is at risk to the economics of the region without action. Funded by JP Morgan Chase, the study not only found that adaptation was cost-beneficial, but would also protect billions of dollars in assets and create thousands of jobs.
